Located in a well established and desirable neighborhood, West Des Moines’ Pearson Park provides many recreational opportunities for nearby residents and citizens throughout the community. In addition to its topographical interest and mature and established vegetation, Pearson Park’s shelter is a popular host to activities such as wedding, birthday parties, and company events. CDA has been selected to help the City of West Des Moines come up with a unique and practical plan to renovate the park’s recreational amenities such as the shelter and playgrounds. The plan will focus on reconfiguration and updating of those amenities while saving as many trees as possible and respecting and enhancing the park’s unique character.

CDA is providing Land Surveying, Civil Engineering and Construction Staking services for this $100 million project Microsoft Data Center in West Des Moines. The project is projected to be completed in spring of 2011.

Birdland Levee - Des Moines, Iowa

Construction continues on the Corp of Engineers Birdland Levee Project in Des Moines, Iowa. CDA is providing construction staking and topographic survey services for this $7.2 million project. The project will improve and reconstruct the levee and flood wall system along 1.7 mile of the Des Moines River.
